Fishing in August was a little tougher than in July, but there were still some great fish to be had. On the club’s still waters, 39 rods caught 41 trout. The most impressive of the month weighed in at 3.18kg, and was caught by J. Walklate at Finelands.
A water temperature measurement at Glengariff was 10 degrees C at three meters. There was dirty water reported at Trelevan 4.
