These three fishing beats are on the lower side of the Umzimkulu below Underberg and tend to become very strong after rains and difficult to fish. They are best suited to drier times. Upper Rocks is difficult to get to and requires walking in either from the Scotston Valley pump house or up across Middle Rocks from the Coleford Road bridge. Middle Rocks is the North bank of the river immediately above the Coleford Road bridge and Upper Callaway is the Southern bank of the same stretch. All the beats provide good angling with varying river topography.
