April, 2019

On the still waters, 32 rods landed 19 trout, the longest of which was a 66cm rainbow at Ringstead by N.van Rooyen. On the river beats, 12 rods caught 23 trout, longest of which was 12 inches.

May, 2019

On the still waters, 40 rods landed 84 trout, the longest of which was 59cm at Ringstead by M.Brandis. On the rivers, 15 rods caught 40 trout, the longest of which was a beaut 45cm at Watermead by J.Coetser.

June, 2019

On the club’s still waters, 39 rods landed 61 trout. The heaviest were two 2.8kg caught rainbows, caught at Finelands and Ringstead. Please note, Roccos Dam is closed until further notice due to fault on the dam wall.

March, 2019

On the club’s still waters, 33 rods landed a total of 56 trout, the largest of which was a 57cm rainbow at Ringstead. The rivers saw limited rod pressure, with 2 rods producing just a single fish of 1.5lbs. North End has been closed until further notice due to poor water quality.

February, 2019

On the still waters, 30 trout were landed by 14 rods. The longest was a 58cm rainbow caught at Goxhill by M. Brandis. Sadly the rivers were a little slower with 2 rods not producing any fish.

January, 2019

On the still waters, 42 rods caught 85 trout. The largest was a 4.2kg rainbow landed at Turner`s Cottage by M. Brandis. On the rivers, 9 rods produced 9 trout. The longest was a 44cm at Lower Rocks, caught by a visitor.

October, 2018

It was great to see the rivers producing results, after tough conditions in recent times. Eight rods landed 28 trout, the longest of which was a 38cm rainbow caught by R. Pretorius. On the still waters, 35 rods produced 75, the heaviest of which was 3kg.
